Italian Jannik Sinner beats Daniil Medvedev in the Australian Open final to win his first Grand Slam title

 Jannik Sinner beat Daniil Medvedev 3-6 3-6 6-4 6-4 6-3 to win the Australian Open men’s singles title in Melbourne, coming back from two sets down.
Italian fourth seed Sinner, 22, who knocked out 10-time champion Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals, was appearing in his first major final.
Third seed Medvedev, appearing in his sixth Grand Slam final, had been seeking his second major title.
